Doctrine

God exists, the one and only true God, consisting of three Persons (the Trinity), each fully, equally and eternally God: 1) God the

Father, Maker of heaven and earth, all things visible and invisible; 2) God the Son, by Whom and for Whom all things were created; 3)

and God the Holy Spirit, Lord and Giver of life, to be worshiped and glorified with the Father and Son.

Jesus Christ, the promised Messiah, is fully God and fully Man (the second Person of the Trinity), consisting of two natures,

Human and Divine (hypostatic union). Jesus left the glories of heaven, was conceived in the womb of the virgin Mary by the Holy Spirit,

lived a sinless life, was crucified, buried, and rose bodily on the third day, and was seen by many (1 Corinthians 15:6). He ascended to

Heaven, was Enthroned, Exalted and Glorified and now sits at the right hand of God the Father on High. From there he will come

again in great Majesty, Power and Gloryand Flaming Fire (2 Thessalonians 1:6-8)to Judge the living and the dead. Jesus Christ is

the only begotten Son of God, the only Savior and His shed blood the only means of salvation. All who believe in Him and obey His

commands are saved from their sins and eternal punishment in hell.

The Bible is the only authoritative Word of God. The Holy Scriptures are supernaturally inspired, infallible and free from all error in

all that it touches, including science, geography, history etc.

Man is created in God's Image, the crown of all Creation. Yet, he is Fallen because of sin, separated from his Maker and

desperately needs a Savior.

Christianity is the only true religion and the only religion that can provide eternal life in Heaven. Salvation is attained only through

Jesus Christ and obedience to the New Testament. You must:

               1.  Believe in Jesus Christ (John 3:16, Acts 16:31, Heb. 11:6)

               2.  Confess Christ publicly (Mat. 10:32-33, Romans 10:9-10, I Tim. 6:12-13)

               3.  Repent of your sins (Luke 13:3-5, 15:7; Acts 2:38)

               4.  Be baptized into Christ (immersed in water) for the remission of sins and the gift of the Holy Spirit (Mat. 28:18-20; Mark

                    16:16; John 3:5)

(Important note: Baptism into Christ is the only commandment in the Bible given in the Name [i.e., Authority] of all three

Persons of the Trinity [Mat. 28:19], giving it the highest importance. The Sinner’s Prayer, Alter Call and "Inviting Jesus into

your heart," taught in virtually all churches today, are fabrications and concoctions of erring men and are nowhere found in

the New Testament. We are not saved by faith alone, but faith AND obedience: "A man is justified by works and not by

faith alone" (James 2:24).

            5.  Observe the Lord’s Supper each Lord’s Day (John 6:53-58; Acts 2:42, 20:7; I Cor. 11:23-30). Jesus said: "This do in

remembrance of me" (Luke 22:19), and "unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life

                    in you" (John 6:53)

                6.  Be faithful unto death (Rev. 2:10, James 1:12)

Those who obey the Gospel and live a moral, ethical and faithful Christian life (II Pet. 1:5-12; Mat. 24:13; Rev. 2:10) are saved

from their sins and are members of the one, true, undenominational ‘body of Christ’the Church.

Political Views

       -  P&R rejects all church/state associations and partnerships (with the left or the right).

       -  We support a strong military, but reject all forms of militarism save for national defense. The majority of U.S. wars have been

          imperialistic, immoral and illegal.

       -  We hold that modern Israel is a fraud and has nothing to do with Old Testament Israel or the promises concerning Israel. The

Abrahamic covenant regarding Israel (e.g., Genesis 15:18; 22:17-18) was fulfilled in the days of Joshua (Joshua 21:43,45) and

Solomon (1 Kings 4:20,21); and is ultimately fulfilled in Christ (Gal. 3:7-9).

       -  P&R rejects world government (though we support world cooperation). The New World Order will destroy our Constitution, our

freedom and happiness, and the security and well-being of our posterity. Nationhood is God's plan (Genesis 10:1–32; Deut.

32:7-8) and has never been rescinded.

       -  We reject the view that America is a Christian nation. Christian Nationhood has never worked anywhere at any time. It perverts

Christianity, destroys the credibility of the church and is an insult to Jesus Himself. Isaiah declared: "Before God all the nations

are as nothing, they are regarded as worthless and less than nothing" (40:17). This includes the United States.

       -  We reject the view that Christ's church is Republican. The Republican Party is corrupt just like the Democratic Party.

       -  P&R holds that America's national debt is an enormous theft from future generations. Enjoying today what our children and

grandchildren will have to repay tomorrow makes America a thief and crook.

       -  We hold that abortion is the murder of the unborn, who are made in God's Image. Any candidate running for US President must

pledge to outlaw all abortions (not just a few)by Executive Orderor forfeit our vote.

       -  P&R holds that homosexuality is an abomination and a perversion of God's Created order. Any American running for President

must pledge to outlaw homosexual marriage, homosexual adoptions and homosexual filth taught in our public schools upon

taking officeby Executive Orderor forfeit the Christian vote.

The church must stop being deceived by political and religious con-artists. Christians are to follow

Christ and the New Testament, not men (Mark 7:7-9, 2 Cor. 2:17).
